About Fontis Aid Foundation
Fontis Aid Foundation, founded in 2019 by Prof Ikeanyionwu Chioma Lovettemary, Ph.D., is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable populations. The foundation operates through two distinct arms:
Humanitarian Arm: Provides essential support to widows, the less privileged, and young people, addressing immediate needs and promoting self-sufficiency.
Development Arm: Empowers young people through quality education, research, skills development, and value-based training, fostering long-term growth and sustainable development.
The foundation’s research initiatives are spearheaded by the Humanitas Research Institute, which:
- Conducts research on critical development issues in Africa
- Organizes conferences and seminars to facilitate knowledge sharing and drive development in Africa.
- Publishes a peer-reviewed journal issue “Research and Education For Development in Africa (REDEA),” showcasing cutting-edge research and insights on African development
